الزواج عند العبابدة و البشارية

اما بالنسبة للزواج فان العادات جرت على ان تكون الفتاة العبادية و البشارية زوجة لابن عمها في المقام الأول ، و في حالة عدم وجوده ، فإنها زوجة لابن خالها أو ابن عمتها .
و زواج الفتاة أمر يهم القبيلة كلها و ليس والديها فقط، و لا يوجد لدى البدو فترة خطوبة ، و غالبا ما ترى العروس زوجها في أول أيام الفرح.
و يقدر مهر العروس بالإبل ، وهو ناقة و جمل و بعض الغنم و الضأن .
و يتم تقسيم المهر بين والدي العروس و يكون لخال العروس نصيب فيه و يسمى " جمل الخال ".
و يستمر الإحتفال بالفرح سبعة أيام ، يتحمل فيها العريس كل النفقات ، حيث ينحر في كل يوم ذبيحة ،على أن تكون جملا في اليوم الأول و الأخير .
و يتم العقد بقراءة الفاتحة فقط ويقوم شباب القبيلة بالرقص والغناء ومن أشهر الرقصات عندهم هى التربلة وعادة يكون الرقص على شكل استعراض للقوة بالسيف والدرع ويتناوب شباب ورجال القبيلة الرقص ولا يوجد فارق بينهم .
وتحكم القبيلة عادات الاحترام والطاعة للاكبر سنا أو مقاما فنجد الاطفال يطيعون الشباب ويقدرونهم .
